For starters, the heated indoor and outdoor pools have Aqua Inflatable, Aqua Jets, Aqua Gliders and Water Walkers to enjoy. For equally wet but less frenetic fun, there are 2 coarse fishing lakes with a tackle lodge full of, well, tackle. Braver souls can attempt the Climbing wall or thrilling Leap of Faith. Activities are available to book at the park from the beginning of the year.

Burnham-on-Sea

Burnham-On-Sea is a thriving seaside town with beaches, a pier, cinema, theatre, gardens, a busy calendar of events throughout the year for residents and visitors alike. There’s also the 42-acre Apex Park which is enjoyed as a space for picnics, games and wildlife watching.

Burnham-On-Sea is almost in the middle of Somerset’s stretch of coast and close to the mouth of the tidal river Parrett. It is at the southern end of what is the second longest strip of sand in Europe and boasts several superb beaches!

There’s a great range of shops, cafes and pubs to visit in Burnham. As with so many of the UK’s seaside resorts, Burnham blossomed during Victorian times and many of its finest buildings date from that time. Today it has everything you would expect from such a resort.

Visit Burnham for superb flat walks and saunters along the seafront prom and beach, or enjoy a walk through the town centre to see shops and facilities such as a cinema and theatre.

Glorious Sandy Beaches
With seven miles of golden sands stretching between the resorts of Burnham-On-Sea and Brean, this is one of the best regions of Britain for taking beach holidays. It’s perfect for walking, playing beach games, flying kites, picnics and splashing about in the sea (when the tide is in!) The coastline is well known for its fine sandy beaches, unspoilt dunes and high and low tides, perfect for bird watching. There are four beaches, as explained here. Burnham has the second greatest rise and fall of tide in the world – after the Bay of Fundy in Canada.
